Salary: $52,000

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Team Leader is responsible for oversight of Career Services caseload and supervision of related staff including daily operations, coordination, and overall management of community-based worksites.  Scope of work includes development of habilitation plans, participation in ISP meetings and ensuring that supports are provided in a manner that is responsive to the interests and desires of each person.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business, or related field.

Minimum Experience:  3-5 years supervisory experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides supervision to staff, including direct participation and input into decisions regarding sourcing, hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, discipline, and discharge of assigned staff.
  • Attends and participates in ISP and other related meetings.
  • Serves as program liaison between agency, employer and person receiving supports.
  • Develops habilitation plans and monitors progress.
  • Coordinates daily/weekly work and transportation schedules for people receiving supports.
  • Reviews and maintains appropriate documentation as per OPWDD and other regulatory bodies.
  • Provides leadership and decision-making role for employment programs.
  • Provides direction and oversight in the development of person-centered, employment related goals.
  • Ensures health and safety of all people receiving supports.

In cooperation with Program Director, ensures that employees attend mandated Agency and OPWDD training classes.

  • Ensures that services are delivered in a manner that is responsive to interests and desires of each person.
  • Drives agency vehicles to transport people receiving supports to community worksites as needed.
