Hourly Rate: $24.52

POSITION SUMMARY: (Essential Functions of Position)
The Recruiting Assistant supports the full cycle of the recruitment process including scheduling interviews, pre-employment activities, onboarding processes such as conducting background checks, references, and maintaining information in the applicant database. Organizes all information for orientation and participates in the interview process and outreach activities. Performs administrative functions as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education: High School diploma, associate’s degree preferred.

Minimum Experience: Two years in a Human Resources environment preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSAs):

Fundamental knowledge of employment law and people functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, HRIS and other spread sheet and database applications. Ability to work independently and can effectively juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with employees, co-workers, job applicants and outside contacts and has excellent customer service skills. Must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality. Excellent mindfulness and organizational abilities to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

Periods of walking, standing, sitting. Must have visual acuity adequate to read correspondence, computer screen, forms, etc.; manual dexterity; speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate by phone or in person at normal volumes. May have periods of bending, stooping, squatting, reaching overhead to file/access files.
