At ARC of Rockland, we offer a variety of services and programming for children with intellectual and other developmental disabilities:
A preschool that provides an individualized approach to learning and gives every child the best possible opportunity to succeed in academic and social environments.
A summer camp at Stony Point, where children ages 9+ can fish and hike and enjoy a 300+ acre camp.
A fun (and free!) school vacation program for kids aged 5-15. A boon to working parents and a joy to children, Prime Time Plus features games, crafts, sports and special events. There is no cost to families, eligible children not affiliated with ARC of Rockland are also welcome.
A fun sports program where our youngest crowd can learn and enjoy specialized activities at our therapeutic pool.
School-age children enrolled in the OPWDD Medicaid Waiver can enjoy one-on-one and group activities to learn how to interact with friends, follow directions, and problem solve.
This unique program for all ages helps students' siblings address their special concerns and feelings in a one-on-one or group setting. Licensed therapists lead discussions on important topics such as how to build a stronger relationship with your sibling, and how to understand autism.
A safe and loving "home away from home" for occasional respite.
